  Ladies and gents, may I present Lexy. Lexy is a cheerful and jovial Pit Bull.

  
  She is gorgeous. She is crazy about chatting on the phone. She is also terrified of the car. Lexy is a doting ally to humans (even though she sometimes pretends she did not realize it was the CATS food that she just ate).
  

  But suddenly one day, Lexy's human had to move unexpectedly to a new apartment. That apartment building had one clear rule: NO PETS. So the human sadly surrendered poor Lexy to the shelter, where she waits patiently for a Rescue Hero.

  Lexy now dreams of the simple things like a kind human to worship, and a soft, safe place to snuggle. Lexy is a friendly, medium energy dog. Lexy's infinitely kind heart makes her the perfect comical companion for anyone. Lexy is kind of hyper . We recommend a home where she'll get lots of playtime.
  
  She is basically house broken, but will have accidents if left alone for too long.

  Things You Should Know
  Before Adopting Lexy

  
  Lexy is a friendly, medium energy Pit Bull. Be ready for action. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your pup's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your pup.

  Friendliness: Pit Bulls may look brawny and tough but they are actually very good natured and sweet companions. This breed was specifically bred for patience and acceptance, making this pup a polite playmate. Make sure your Pit Bull meets lots of new dogs so he doesn't become too shy.
  
  Grooming: The Pit Bull's extremely short coat is very low maintaince but also make Pit Bulls sensitive to cold weather. Brush your pup every week and provide a warm jacket while playing in the snow.
  
  Exercise: A Pit Bull may look active and powerful but they only need moderate daily activity to stay healthy. A daily walk on a leash or short romp in the backyard will keep a Pit Bull happy and fit. Young Pit Bulls like to jump so obedience training is very important.
