  The devoted Mr. Mac. Mac is a noble and gracious Jack Russel Terrier.

  
  He is crazy about facial hair. He is also really scared of airplanes. Mac is a loyal playmate to humans (even though he sometimes tries to ride shotgun even if he was not invited).
  

  Sadly, Mac was abandoned by a breeder. Mac was brought to ShelterPups.com where he is being cared for temporarily while he waits each day for his forever home.

  Mac wakes up each morning hoping this will be the day he finally finds a new human. Mac is a friendly, medium energy dog. Mac's happy-go-lucky attitude makes him the ultimate companion. Mac can be "overly affectionate" . We recommend a home where he'll be around other friendly dogs.

  Mac is a friendly, medium energy Jack Russell Terrier Mi. Be ready for action. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your pup's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your pup.

  Friendliness: Originally bred to hunt, a Jack Russell Terrier loves to chase, explore, bark and dig. They are fantastic jumpers and some can easily jump five feet. In addition to their energetic nature, Jack Russell Terriers are also cheerful, merry, devoted, and loving dogs. Most enjoy playing games and toys.
  
  Grooming: Jack Russel Terriers can have smooth or rough coats but both are easy to groom. Comb and brush regularly with a firm bristle brush, and bath only when necessary.
  
  Exercise: Jack Russel Terriers need long daily walks and space to run, hunt and play.
