Friends, introducing Rosie. Ms. Rosie is a gracious and cheerful Maltese and Poodle mix.
She is an absolute lovebug. She is crazy about doggy day care. She hates trains.
Rosie is a loving friend to humans (even though she sometimes pretends she did not realize it was the BIRDS food that she just ate).
Unfortunately, Rosie was abandoned by a breeder. Rosie was brought to ShelterPups.com where she is being cared for temporarily while she waits each day for her forever home.
But Rosie, like all dogs, does not dwell on the past. She lives in the present and wags her tail for the future. Rosie is a high energy dog. Rosie's incredible poise makes her the perfect adoptable friend. You should know that Rosie is a little TOO playful sometimes . We recommend a home where she'll be around other friendly dogs.
She is already house broken and knows tons of tricks!
Things You Should Know Before Adopting Rosie
Rosie is a high energy Maltipoo. Be ready to give this pup lots of attention. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.
There's tons of Maltipoo in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: Poodles love people and will go out of their way to make them happy. Because they love people so much, Poodles do not do well in cages or alone for long periods of time. These pups love to be the center of attention and will eagerly accompany you to all types of events and outings.
Grooming: Most Poodles must be bathed regularly and clipped every six to eight weeks. Because Poodles do not shed, they must be clipped instead of brushed. A professional groomer can give your Poodle a different hair cut each time!
Exercise: The Standard Poodle is generally lower energy and often calmer than the smaller varieties of Poodles although all sizes are described as highly intelligent and easily trained. Obedience and agility games are a great way to exercise these pups and use their brain power.
Sorry, but Rosie was already adopted by an International Rescue Hero!
